Both the Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention and the newly formed Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity were faced with the same challenge in their communications– the perception of the CDC as Feds in space suits, a remote Big Brother agency. Both Divisions hired Ethic to design a bright, energetic and approachable brand. We created a series of identity graphics for both internal use and media audiences and extended their new look to a system of brochures, tradeshow displays and presentation materials.
The result? A more unified message and a humanized public image for the world's most respected authority on public health.
