With the proliferation of mobile technologies, The Weather Channel has leveraged their massive TV audience to capture a whole new generation of viewers with their authoritative, up-to-the-second coverage. In fact, today TWC Mobile is the #2 app on all smartphones, right after Facebook. Through their TV, web, and mobile presence, The Weather Channel has emerged as the world's leading cross-platform media company. Despite this enviable position, TWC hasn't always made self-promotion a priority. Enter Ethic.
We started designing static ads for the mobile sales group at TWC and quickly became invaluable to their team. Word spread to other departments that Ethic was the go-to source for great creative with quick turnaround when internal resources were overwhelmed. Now we produce graphics and campaigns for a number of TWC initiatives, including concept and design work on the next version of their iPad app.
